2012 ANNUAL KNIGHT OF CELEBRATION

This year's Knight of Celebration will be held on Friday, May 25th from 6 pm to dusk.  The evening will include dinner for $5 a person starting at 6 pm, awards at 6:30 pm, races, games, bouncers and horse wagon rides throughout the evening and Fireworks at dusk! Tickets do not have to be purchased in advance, but if you are coming, you can RSVP to n.g.c.c@mts.net with the number of people that will be attending.

If you were part of a coaching staff over the past year and did not get an email and invitation, your dinner will be complimentary and we hope to see you and your family there as well.

At this event we will be handing out the Cory Anderson Award for both the Summer 2011 and Fall/Winter 2011-2012 seasons.  If you were involved with a team that you think should be nominated for this award, please send us an email.  We will also be handing out a Volunteer of the Year Award, so if you know of someone who deserves to be recognized, let us know.

Make sure to mark this date on your calendar so we can make it a great evening for everyone.

The Carnival Tournament, Pancake Breakfast and "Afternoon Fun" The Carnival Tournament, Pancake Breakfast and "Afternoon Fun" was a HUGE success! Many, many thanks go out to our Tournament Directors Tracy Thiele and Edna Sears who did a wonderful job! They had lots of support from people like Blair Mineault, Shari Loewen, Angela and Warren Fender and quite a few of the 5/6 and 7/8 parents. We could not have pulled this off with all the extra volunteer help that you provided! Please know that it is truly appreciated.

New Fees effective fall 2011 View Full Story Minimize
September 15, 2011 |
Late Fees and Volunteer Fees Change Late fees are now $50 per family on ALL registrations after the posted dates. Volunteer fees will now be $100/child for the longer winter season and $50/child for the shorter summer season. This is to encourage all families to volunteer at the community centre, instead of just paying. We want people to get involved and show their children the importance of volunteering and giving back to their community. We offer many different options to volunteer, so working around most schedules is possible.
