SOFTBALL
Our Softball Convenor is Colleen Tabak and she can be reached at 255-6732 or colleentabak@gmail.com . We are presently looking for a Softball/Baseball Equipment Convenor who is responsible for the distribution of team equipment for these sports. This is a non-Board position, but a very important one, so if you can be of any assistance or require more information please contact Carmelle at n.g.c.c@mts.net or 256-6654. Colleen will also be leaving her convening position after this season so we will be looking for a new Softball convenor for 2011. If you are interested in doing this, talk to Colleen and she can fill you in on what the position entails.
Softball registration for children 4-adult takes place the first week of March and the season runs in May and June, and for the older ages can run into July.

At the Learn to Play (LTP) level, children require a good pair of runners, a glove and a helmet. They receive a keeper t-shirt that will be given to them at the beginning of the season.
At the higher levels, rubber cleats are required, and a uniform/jersey will be provided to use for the season. A deposit cheque of $50.00 will be required for each of these uniforms/jerseys. If they are not returned, the cheque will be cashed.
