Basketball registration takes place the first week of March for the Spring League.

The WMBA Spring League is open to boys & girls ages 8-18 and runs from mid-April through to the end of June. The league also offers a Fall / Winter league October through March.

GAME DAYS & AGE DIVISIONS

The Spring League Community Club teams will be separated into the following age divisions...

Saturday Games * (games can range from 9 am - 6 pm)
8-9 Girls, 8 Boys, 9 Boys, 10 Girls, 10 Boys, 11 Girls, 11 Boys
(note: age divisions subject to change)

Sunday Games * (games can range from 9 am to 6 pm)
12 Girls, 12 Boys, 13 Boys, 14 Boys, 13-14 Girls, 15-18 Girls, 15 Boys, 16-18 Boys
(note: age divisions subject to change)

* all teams will also practice once during the weeknights over the course of the program

Eligible ages for Spring 2010 include...

•Born in 2003 (age 7) - would play in the 8 year old division
•Born in 2002 (age 8)
•Born in 2001 (age 9)
•Born in 2000 (age 10)
•Born in 1999 (age 11)
•Born in 1998 (age 12)
•Born in 1997 (age 13)
•Born in 1996 (age 14)
•Born in 1995 (age 15)
•Born in 1994 (age 16)
•Born in 1993 (age 17)
•Born in 1992 (age 18)

PROGRAM TIMELINES

•The spring league will run mid-April through until the end of June (no club games on the May-Long Weekend or Basketball MB Club Championships)
•Club teams will participate in 8 regular season games plus a 2-game playoff.
•Teams will also be practicing once per week during the weeknights at an area school (exact day and time of the practice is set by the club). Practice times range Monday to Friday, 6-10 pm.
•Games run one hour in length.
